Frontier collects bulk and brush once a week on the second collection day, the last service day of the week, with a limit of twelve items and no more than two cubic yards per bulk day.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Included with residential service inside the twelve-item, two cubic yard bulk allowance. Anything beyond two cubic yards, about the size of a sofa, needs a Frontier special collection for an additional fee of $16.54 disposal plus $242.55 per hour for the vehicle and crew.

Put the bulk and brush out on the second collection day of the week, before 7 a.m. and no earlier than 5 p.m. the day before, and keep it separate from the garbage cart.
Get it ready
Keep the load to twelve items and two cubic yards, fold and flatten boxes, cut, tie and bundle tree trimmings to a forty pound limit, and keep construction material, regular household trash, tires, engine parts and anything containing Freon out of the pile.

Tomball's ordinance prohibits putting solid waste or recycling out before 5 p.m. the day before the service day, and everything has to be at the curb before 7 a.m. on the collection day. Garbage in a cart must be bagged and tied with the lid closed, carts face with the handles toward the house, bags sit at the curb, carts stay four feet from the mailbox, and no extra bags may be left beside the cart because the lid has to close.
One bulk day a week, twelve items, two cubic yards
Bulk and brush go out once a week on the second collection day, the last service day of the week, and the limit is twelve items and two cubic yards. Old furniture and folded boxes, tree trimmings, bagged yard waste bundled to forty pounds, one mattress and appliances with the Freon statement attached are all accepted, while construction and contract material, regular household trash, tires, engine parts and anything containing Freon are refused. Grass clippings also go out on the bulk day, and Christmas trees are collected on the same day until mid-January.

Frontier Waste Solutions collects garbage twice a week in two sections, recycling once a week in four sections, and bulk and brush once a week on the second collection day with a twelve-item, two cubic yard limit. One mattress is allowed per bulk day, appliances need a licensed technician's Freon removal statement attached to the front of the unit, and construction, remodel, DIY and contract material, tires, engine parts and household trash are refused on that route. Anything past two cubic yards is a paid Frontier special collection at the published disposal fee plus an hourly vehicle and crew rate, and construction or demolition material needs a special collection or a roll-off container at the published delivery, daily rent, hauling and per-ton rates. Household hazardous waste is outside the city service altogether and is referred to Harris County Household Hazardous Waste, and no Tomball page publishes an electronics drop-off, so both need a call to the city at 281-290-1450 before anything is loaded.
