Will the city take it?
Tomball contracts Frontier Waste Solutions as its only solid waste provider and publishes the residential rules itself. Garbage runs twice a week in two sections, recycling once a week in four sections, and bulk and brush come around once a week on the second collection day, which is the last service day of the week. That bulk day takes twelve items and no more than two cubic yards: old furniture and folded boxes, tree trimmings, bagged yard waste bundled to forty pounds, one mattress, and appliances whose Freon has been removed by a licensed technician with the statement attached. Anything over two cubic yards needs a paid Frontier special collection, construction and demolition material needs a special collection or a roll-off container, and the city does not collect hazardous waste at all.
Frontier collects bulk and brush once a week on the second collection day, the last service day of the week, with a limit of twelve items and no more than two cubic yards per bulk day.
