The old sofa can stop holding up your plans.

You know it needs to go. The price, the pickup day and knowing it is done should be easy to settle, too.

A replacement is on the way.

Give the old couch its own pickup day. Check what your retailer will remove, then book the part you still need handled.

The right sofa. The right price.

Count the sections, not the cushions.

A loveseat, a sleeper and a sectional can look similar in a photo. Match the shape and features so your online price covers what is actually going.

Three structural sectional modules slightly separated, with all cushions remaining on their bases.
This example has three structural sections. The cushions do not add to the count.

A straight sofa or loveseat

Choose Standard sofa for fixed seats with no pull-out bed or reclining mechanism. One whole sofa is one item.

A sectional

Count its structural sections, not the loose cushions. Choose the piece count, then check for a sleeper or reclining feature. One sectional booking covers the configuration you select.

A pull-out bed or reclining seats

Choose Sleeper sofa or Reclining sofa for those mechanisms. A single reclining chair has its own Recliner choice. All sofa types also includes futons and sofas with a chaise.

Households that need more recycling space than the standard cart allows.

Cost & conditions
$2.85 per month for an additional Waste Management recycling cart, a rate the City notes is reduced from its former published price, while swapping the existing cart for a larger ninety six gallon model carries no additional fee. Taking it somewhere yourself?

Sandy households that haul their own loads have three published destinations. Household hazardous waste and electronics go free to the Salt Lake County collection centre at 8805 South 700 West inside Sandy, open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the same material is accepted at the Trans-Jordan Landfill in South Jordan and the Salt Lake Valley Landfill in Salt Lake City. A refrigerator or freezer that still contains Freon goes to a landfill, where the published residential fee covers removing and properly disposing of it, or the household has a licensed professional remove and tag the refrigerant and then sets the unit out with the next bulk collection. For volume, the City rents a thirty cubic yard dumpster to a home up to twice a year for up to seventy two hours, taking yard debris, building materials, household items and furniture, with heavy material limited to one third of the container. worth knowing.

Couch removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Sandy.

How much does couch removal cost in Sandy?

A standard sofa is $79 as the first item and $29 additional. Sectionals, sleepers and reclining sofas have their own choices. Select everything that is going to see the combined price before booking. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; any applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can you pick up my couch today?

Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Available dates appear at checkout. Have the couch outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We send pickup updates and photos when it is done; the booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time.

How do I book a sectional for removal?

Open Sectional in the sofa choices, count its structural sections, and select any sleeper or reclining feature. Count the sections with their own bases, not loose cushions. The matching catalog choice covers one complete sectional of that configuration. Text a photo before booking if you are unsure.

Will you carry my couch out of my apartment?

Dropcurb starts outside. Arrange for the sofa to be moved through the apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load and haul it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Arrange any dismantling needed to get it outside beforehand.

Do I need to wait at home for couch pickup?

You do not need to be home when your booked sofa is outside and accessible. Add photos and pickup-location notes to your order so the right pieces are easy to identify. We send updates and completion photos. Confirm any building access restrictions with us before booking.
