The project is done. Get your space back.

The new bathroom is ready, but the old vanity is still outside. A replaced door is taking up space you need. Put those leftover items on a pickup plan, with the price settled and updates through the final haul-away.

Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and remodeling debris

Special rules apply

Contractor generated waste is refused in the town bulk pile, and the county takes only small household amounts of brick, concrete, dirt and rocks, with a daily volume cap and a published minimum charge.

City cost & eligibility
From $49 for the minimum residential charge for a small load of brick, concrete, dirt and rocks at the Fairfax County transfer station, billed at $109 per ton and limited to two cubic yards, about four 95 gallon carts, per day per household. Fairfax County resident households, with the small load limit including toilets, sinks and bathtubs; the town refuses contractor generated waste in the weekly bulk pile altogether, so a contractor's material has to be handled by the trade that produced it.
When & how
Keep the load to the daily small amount rule and take it to the I-66 Transfer Station during residential hours, or arrange it with the contractor who generated it.
Get it ready
Keep construction material out of the town bulk pile and out of the recycling container, separate brick, concrete, dirt and rocks from mixed debris, and keep paint, solvents and other chemicals out of the load because they go to the household hazardous waste program instead.
Town trash and recycling page with the five weekly routes and the five separate crews, the holiday closures, the 6 a.m. set out and 7 p.m. container return, the container size and weight limits, the yard waste and brush rules with the twenty container and pile limits, the weekly bulk pile limit and its accepted list with the appliance, electronics and contractor exclusions, the glass, battery, composting and Quarterly Recycling Day programsFairfax County residential disposal fees for July 2026 through June 2027 with the trash, brush and yard waste charges, the two cubic yard daily limit and tonnage rate for brick concrete dirt and rocks, the per unit charge for refrigerant appliances, the passenger tire charge and the small and large item unit charges including the mattress and box spring price

Everything at the curb by 6 a.m.

Trash, recycling, yard waste, brush and the bulk pile all go out by 6 a.m. on the household's weekly collection day and no earlier than 6 p.m. the evening before, at the curb line or edge of pavement where the crews can reach them, out of the sidewalk and the traffic right of way. Containers come back in by 7 p.m. on the collection day, and the town sends five separate trucks, one for each stream.

The county handles what the town refuses

Appliances, mattresses, tires, small construction loads, chemicals and all electronics go to Fairfax County rather than the town curb. The I-66 Transfer Station on West Ox Road takes residential trash and recycling Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with hazardous waste and e-waste open six days a week and closed Wednesday, and proof of county residency may be required at the gate.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Vienna households split their self haul between the town and the county. The town takes waste oil, antifreeze, vehicle batteries, most electronics without a screen and scrap metal four times a year at the Northside Property Yard on Mill Street NE, takes batteries all year at the town hall and the community center, and runs a food scraps composting drop off at the 400 block of Mill Street NE by the purple glass bin. Everything the town refuses goes to Fairfax County: the I-66 Transfer Station on West Ox Road takes residential trash, recycling and food scraps seven days a week, takes televisions, computers and peripherals free of charge, runs the free household hazardous waste program six days a week with a Wednesday closure, and prices appliances, mattresses, tires, small construction loads and extra trash on its published unit and tonnage schedule. Proof of Fairfax County residency may be required at the gate, and the site closes on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Easter Sunday. Glass is the one stream that goes the other way, to the purple county bins at 431 Mill Street NE in town or the Jim Scott Community Center on Vaden Drive. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Vienna.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Vienna?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Vienna?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does construction debris go in Vienna?

Not in the town bulk pile, because contractor generated waste is refused there. Fairfax County takes small household amounts of brick, concrete, dirt and rocks, up to two cubic yards a day, at the I-66 Transfer Station for a tonnage charge with a published minimum.Official guidance
