The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Get it ready
Keep the television out of the trash and recycling barrels, set it with the bulk pile at least 5 feet from anything a crew could damage, and wipe personal data from any device that stores it.
Set the pile in the street against the curb in front of the property and never on the sidewalk, on private property or in the alley. On a high capacity road such as 111th Avenue, the pile has to go on the resident's own property with a signed liability waiver, and it always stays at least 5 feet from anything that could be damaged.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Arrange it
Book the date in the MySchedule portal at parksandsons.com/myschedule, then place the pile in the street against the curb in front of the property by 5:30 a.m. on the collection day.
Two collections a year are included, the pile may not exceed 8 feet by 6 feet by 4 feet, and refrigerant appliances, household trash, tires, construction debris and inert material are all refused.

Does my old TV have to work?+
Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.
Will Youngtown collect a television?+

Who collects trash and recycling in Youngtown?+
Parks & Sons of Sun City collects for the Town, with weekly residential refuse collection, weekly recycling and the residential bulk program, and all services begin as early as 5:00 a.m. The Town and Maricopa County Environmental Services require all refuse to be bagged and securely tied, including grass clippings and yard waste.Official guidance
Do holidays delay collection?+
A service day that falls on or after a recognized holiday is delayed one day that week, while service days before the holiday are not affected. What can go in the recycling barrel?+
Newspaper, junk mail, envelopes, magazines, catalogs, paper bags, phone books, plastic cups, bottles, jugs, cartons and containers marked one through seven, food jars, beverage bottles, cardboard without packing materials, chipboard, boxes, aluminum, steel and tin cans, empty aerosol cans, and foil and foil baking pans. Where do batteries, motor oil and paint go?+
The hauler does not handle or dispose of hazardous waste, so it points elsewhere. Rechargeable household and auto batteries go to Interstate Batteries, motor oil goes to stores such as Checker Auto Supply or Pep Boys, and paint that has completely solidified can go in the regular trash after absorbent is added to any leftover. Prescription drugs follow a mix and conceal method in the trash, and anything else is checked through Earth 911.Official guidance
