The landfill is closed on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and it charges extra for an untarped load or an out of county household hazardous waste delivery. Pressure treated wood, and mixed construction loads that fall below the recoverable percentage, are charged at higher rates.
