Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is named on none of the Dublin or hauler lists, and the large item service refuses anything over 60 pounds except furniture and appliances.
City cost & eligibility
No published rate covers an exercise machine. If the hauler accepts it, the pickup falls inside the free large item allowance, so confirm the item and any charge with Amador Valley Industries at (925) 479-9545 before the collection.
When & how
Call Amador Valley Industries at (925) 479-9545 at least three days before the intended pickup with the machine type and weight, and include it only if it is accepted.
Get it ready
Break the machine down so the pieces can be handled, keep the load within seven cubic yards, box or bag small parts, and take off any console or battery pack so the electronics are handled as e-waste instead.
A large item collection is limited to a seven cubic yard space, about nine feet long, four feet wide and five feet tall, which the hauler compares to roughly 42 full 35 gallon bags. Small items go in a disposable box or bag, yard clippings and wood are bundled, boxed or bagged and no longer than four feet, and glass is boxed and bundled securely. Dirt, concrete and hazardous materials are refused, and no single item may weigh over 60 pounds except furniture and appliances.
Dublin single family households get three free large item collections per contract year, which runs July 1 to June 30. The collection is booked by calling Amador Valley Industries at (925) 479-9545 at least three days in advance, and material goes to the curb no more than 24 hours before the pickup, without blocking the sidewalk or impeding traffic.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Dublin single family households with furniture, a mattress, a refrigerator, freezer or water heater, a television or computer, carpet, up to four car tires without rims, or another large item that will not fit a cart.

Dropcurb pickup starts outside. Arrange indoor carrying, stairs and any dismantling needed to get your equipment out before pickup. Check the moving instructions for your exact model and arrange suitable help. We load and haul away the equipment from an accessible outdoor spot.
Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
Enter the combined weight in pounds for your dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Booking rounds that total up to the next 10 lb unit: 25 lb uses three units. Stands, racks and benches are separate items and do not include the loose weights. Add each one that is going.
Will Dublin collect an exercise machine?+
