Both sites are closed on major holidays, and the county asks residents to check the individual site for the day's hours, so confirm the closing time on 714-993-0372 in Brea or 949-728-3040 in San Juan Capistrano.
Loads must be tarped or secured because that is the law, the landfills close on major holidays, and Frank R. Bowerman Landfill in Irvine allows no public disposal. Treated wood is refused at Olinda Alpha and accepted at Prima Deshecha.
