Pesticides, latex water based paint, oil and paint, other accepted liquids, food grade nitrous oxide cylinders of 4.5 liters or smaller, and prepaid envelopes for unused medication including legally held controlled drugs.
No appointment is needed for household drop-off and the service is for county residents. Liquids must be in containers no larger than five gallons, and a container can be poured off and returned when staff label it. Appliances with or without freon, computers and electronic equipment, asbestos, dried out latex paint and empty containers, fire extinguishers, propane cylinders larger than one pound, radioactive material, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, explosive or shock sensitive material, and ordinary non hazardous waste are refused.
Wednesday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Monday and Sunday, with Tuesday reserved for business waste by appointment.
