When & how
Set the item out on the regular collection day, at the curb or in the alley by 6 a.m. For an extra item, a prepayment is arranged with LRS first by phone at 844-633-3577 or by emailing a description and photo to Service@LRSrecycles.com, and a special pickup is arranged the same way when equipment or extra labor is needed.

Keep items too large for the cart as the bulk item, and expect a special pickup rather than the standard collection for a piano, a sofa sleeper, a couch with a pull-out bed, a large entertainment center or construction debris. Hazardous items are never accepted as bulk.

Electronics, appliances and hazardous waste all need a request first
Nothing from those three streams goes out as a surprise: appliances must be prescheduled with LRS before the service day, electronic waste needs a request at least 48 hours ahead for the first full week of the month, and household hazardous waste is scheduled directly with the resident after a request. Everything else, including the free weekly bulk item, goes out by 6 a.m. on the regular collection day.

Will you carry my couch out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. Arrange for the sofa to be moved through the apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load and haul it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Arrange any dismantling needed to get it outside beforehand.
Do I need to wait at home for couch pickup?+
You do not need to be home when your booked sofa is outside and accessible. Add photos and pickup-location notes to your order so the right pieces are easy to identify. We send updates and completion photos. Confirm any building access restrictions with us before booking.
