Get it ready
Attach a certification from a licensed refrigeration technician stating that a refrigerator, freezer or air conditioner is refrigerant free, which the City requires before the unit is collected. A resident who would rather move the item personally may take bulk items to the Winnebago landfill instead of using the curbside collection.
The City publishes preparation rules instead of an appointment. A toilet tank comes off the bowl, boards, poles and other long solid objects are cut into sections no longer than four feet, bedding and furniture that has been infested is wrapped in plastic, a king size box spring is cut in half and a king size mattress folded in half and secured with tape or rope, and a refrigerant containing appliance needs a licensed technician's certification that it is refrigerant free.

Set out unlimited household trash in containers or bags of 13 to 40 gallons under 50 pounds, use the supplied recycling toter, and follow the seasonal yard waste rules on the same collection day.

Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own.
