Take a machine apart only as far as the pieces can be carried safely, keep the frame and the weights together in one booked pickup rather than spreading them over several weeks, and keep the load clear of the sidewalk, poles and hydrants. Set-out windows, cart placement and who is eligible
Nothing goes to the curb before 4:00 PM on the day before collection, everything has to be out by 6:00 AM on the collection day, and empty containers come back off the curb by 11:59 PM that night. Carts need about three feet of clearance from poles, mailboxes, hydrants, trees and parked cars, no more than five feet from the curb edge, with the lid arrows facing the street so the truck arm can service them. Single-family homes through eight-unit buildings are eligible for city collection, with one cart per unit, and a condominium complex already on dumpster service keeps that service.
