$25 for the published per item charge for an upper tier bulky item such as a couch or love seat, dresser or bureau, bed frame, bicycle, buffet or hutch, chair or recliner, baby crib, entertainment center, grill with the propane tank removed or table, with a lower senior rate published alongside it. Revere residents submitting a bulky item pickup permit through the City permitting portal and paying online. A lower tier of smaller items carries its own published per item charge and a lower senior rate.
When & how
Requested by permit rather than scheduled by phone, with the deadline for a next day pickup at mid afternoon Monday through Thursday and Friday and Monday pickups applied for by mid afternoon the preceding Thursday. A late application may push the item to the following week.
Get it ready
Match the item to its published tier before applying, because a couch sits at the higher rate while a lamp, a rug up to four feet long, a coffee table or a television stand sits lower. Remove the propane tank from a grill, keep a rug rolled, and leave construction material, antifreeze, gas cans, dirt and aerosol paint out entirely, since the City will not permit those.
Nothing bulky is collected without an online permit, and the deadline matters: mid afternoon Monday through Thursday for a next day pickup, and by mid afternoon on the preceding Thursday for a Friday or a Monday. The City warns that a late application may push the item to the following week, so the permit is filed before the item reaches the curb.

Online bulky item permit
A Revere household with furniture, a rolled rug or another item that will not fit the cart. A mattress or box spring is not part of this route: the City takes those only at the department of public works yard drop-off.
Cost & conditions

Revere residents submitting the permit through the City permitting portal and paying online, for the items the fee table makes curbside eligible: the couch tier, the smaller furniture tier, and the appliance and electronics rate. Mattresses, tires, toilets and sinks, small household appliances, paint cans and overflow trash sit in the Miscellaneous block the table marks Ineligible for Curbside Pickup, so those go to the department of public works yard or a private route.

Can you pick up my couch today?+
Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Available dates appear at checkout. Have the couch outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We send pickup updates and photos when it is done; the booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time.
How do I book a sectional for removal?+
Open Sectional in the sofa choices, count its structural sections, and select any sleeper or reclining feature. Count the sections with their own bases, not loose cushions. The matching catalog choice covers one complete sectional of that configuration. Text a photo before booking if you are unsure.
Will you carry my couch out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. Arrange for the sofa to be moved through the apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load and haul it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Arrange any dismantling needed to get it outside beforehand.
Do I need to wait at home for couch pickup?+
You do not need to be home when your booked sofa is outside and accessible. Add photos and pickup-location notes to your order so the right pieces are easy to identify. We send updates and completion photos. Confirm any building access restrictions with us before booking.
How do I request a bulky item pickup?+
Through the City's online permitting portal, because Revere replaced the sticker program with an online bulky item pickup program. Register, apply under the bulky item pickup type, choose the appliances or other bulky items subtype, pay online, and watch for the email confirmation.Official guidance

Yes. Revere runs a textile recycling program with a partner organization that offers free curbside textile collections, which residents schedule online, along with donation bins at City Hall on Broadway, Revere High School, the West Revere School Complex, Revere Boxing and the public works yard.Official guidance
What if trash will not fit in the cart?+
Only one city cart may sit at the curb, except during the six designated overflow weeks the City publishes. Overflow trash is priced as a miscellaneous item in the fee table's Ineligible for Curbside Pickup block, so the paid route is a drop-off at the department of public works yard rather than extra bags left beside the cart.
