An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.

When & how
Curbside bulk trash days fall in March, June, September and December, and the free drop-off days are listed on the city event page. The scrap yards keep weekday hours, and Kalamazoo Metal Recyclers also opens on Saturday.
Get it ready
Take the machine down only as far as you safely can, keep the console and power supply with the electronics if the city refuses them in a pile, and keep padded or upholstered parts with the furniture material rather than in a metal load.
Place bulk items at the curb starting at 7 a.m. the day before your collection and have everything out by 6 a.m. on the collection day, because the city treats an early or late pile as a nuisance. Anything the crew does not take has to be off the curb within two days after the pickup in your area, and a missed bulk pickup should be reported to 311 or (269) 337-8000 within 48 hours.
Keep the pile visible, loose and inside the load limit
Put material in open boxes or clear bags so the contents can be identified, never in black or opaque bags, and do not leave a loose pile of junk. Each collection is limited to 7.5 cubic yards, which is about a pickup truck load. Cut carpet into 4 x 4 foot squares and roll it, cut fencing into 4 x 4 foot sections, and deface, bag and label anything infested with bedbugs or cockroaches.
