Appliances have set prices at both sites. Washers, dryers and water heaters are taken at the landfill with no additional fee, a refrigerator is charged at one price when the Freon is already gone and a higher price when the unit still holds it, and the transfer station charges a refrigerant extraction fee for any appliance that contains refrigerant.

The district serves Utah County and names Eagle Mountain among the communities it covers, then lists Eagle Mountain as one of the non-participating cities whose residents pay higher fees, and it requires identification at the gate. For a mixed waste load the district publishes $26 for the first 500 pounds and $52 for 501 to 1,000 pounds for out of district customers, against $13 and $26 in district, which is why the Intermountain Regional Landfill at Fairfield is often the closer and cheaper trip for city households.
The North Pointe transfer station at 2000 W 200 S in Lindon is open Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and it closes on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas with early closings on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The Intermountain Regional Landfill at 800 S Allen Ranch Road in Fairfield is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Sundays, and both sites take card payment while the district takes cash only in exact amounts and no longer accepts checks.
