$30 for the published per item charge for an appliance or electronics tier item such as a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, dryer, washing machine, microwave, air conditioner or trash compactor, with a lower senior rate published alongside it. Revere residents submitting a bulky item pickup permit under the appliances subtype and paying online.

Through the permit system with the next day deadlines, and the appliance is collected with the bulky item route rather than the ordinary cart collection.
Get it ready
Empty the unit before it goes out and apply under the appliances subtype so the right price applies. Small household appliances are priced at a much lower published rate than a full size unit, so list them separately, and ask about refrigerant handling when the permit is submitted because the City publishes no degassing step.
Nothing bulky is collected without an online permit, and the deadline matters: mid afternoon Monday through Thursday for a next day pickup, and by mid afternoon on the preceding Thursday for a Friday or a Monday. The City warns that a late application may push the item to the following week, so the permit is filed before the item reaches the curb.
Revere prices bulky items by tier rather than by weight. A couch, love seat, dresser, bed frame, chair, table, grill or entertainment center sits at the upper rate, a lamp, a rug up to four feet long, a coffee table or a television stand sits lower, appliances and electronics such as a refrigerator, washer, oven or television have their own rate, a mattress is priced on its own line above all of them, and small household appliances are the cheapest priced item.

Will you disconnect my appliance or carry it out?+

Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own. Select the old appliance, choose a pickup day and arrange for it to be disconnected and accessible outside. If your new delivery is still ahead, confirm the retailer’s haul-away arrangements before booking a separate pickup.

What if trash will not fit in the cart?+
Only one city cart may sit at the curb, except during the six designated overflow weeks the City publishes. Overflow trash is priced as a miscellaneous item in the fee table's Ineligible for Curbside Pickup block, so the paid route is a drop-off at the department of public works yard rather than extra bags left beside the cart.
