Couch & furniture removal in ChesterfieldCity collection The city's own guide puts home furniture on Republic's bulk pickup, the same route it names for appliances, and adds a reuse option for pieces that are still in good shape. Because the contract covers ordinary weekly collection rather than bulk items, the pickup is booked with Republic and the price comes from Republic rather than from a published city schedule. Neither the city nor Republic publishes a bulk item price for Chesterfield, and the quarterly contract rate covers the regular weekly collection rather than bulk material. Book the pickup with Republic on 636-947-5959 and confirm the per item charge before the piece goes out.

Mattress & bed removal in ChesterfieldCity collection The city's guide names appliances and furniture for bulk pickup but does not list mattresses; the contractor's own Chesterfield page does, asking whether you need to remove an old mattress or refrigerator and offering a bulk trash pickup for it. So the route is Republic bulk pickup with the price confirmed, not a city published rate. No mattress price is published by the city or by Republic for Chesterfield. Book the bulk pickup on 636-947-5959 and confirm the per piece charge, since the quarterly contract rate covers only the regular weekly trash and recycling service.

Appliance pickup in ChesterfieldCity collection Home appliances are named in the city's guide as Republic bulk pickup material, and a working appliance can go to the Habitat ReStore instead. Bags & household clutter in ChesterfieldCity collection Bulk collection exists in Chesterfield, but it is not part of the weekly service or the published rate. The city guide sends home appliances and furniture to Republic bulk pickup, and Republic's own Chesterfield page offers bulk waste and dumpster rental for home projects and cleanouts. Everything about the price, the booking and the size of the load comes from the hauler. The city's published rates cover the weekly trash, recycling and optional yard waste service, and no bulk item price is published on either the city or the hauler side. The local disposal guide
Chesterfield contracts one company for the whole residential service: Republic Services holds the exclusive city contract for solid waste, recycling and optional yard waste, and residents set up service and billing with Republic directly on a quarterly bill. The city's own guide to what goes where sends home appliances and furniture to Republic's bulk pickup, and sends reusable appliances and furniture to the Habitat ReStore in Des Peres. Everything else in the guide is a drop-off rather than a city route, because Chesterfield runs no yard of its own: computers and monitors go to a retailer that charges by size, small electronics and batteries go to a few named stores, concrete, asphalt and dirt go to a materials yard in Valley Park, and paint, chemicals and cooking oil go to the St. Louis household hazardous waste sites by appointment. Bulk pickup is real but unpriced, so the fee always comes from Republic rather than from this page.

Home appliances are named in the city's guide as Republic bulk pickup material, and a working appliance can go to the Habitat ReStore instead. The city publishes no appliance price, so the charge comes from Republic, and the city guide points out that extra fees and conditions on its own list may change.
Chesterfield sends electronics to retailers rather than to a city site. The city's guide routes computers, monitors, printers and ink cartridges to Office Depot with a fee that depends on size, and cell phones, power cords, chargers and portable tools to Batteries Plus, Home Depot or Lowes. Televisions are not named in the guide, so a screen has to be confirmed rather than assumed.
Chesterfield splits construction material by type. The city guide sends building materials, meaning concrete, asphalt, dirt, gravel and rock, to Terrafil in Valley Park, which is a private yard that sets its own terms. Drywall, lumber, shingles and the rest of a renovation load have no published city route at all.
Exercise equipment is not named in the city guide, which lists appliances and furniture for bulk pickup but no exercise machines. The bulk route is the one to ask about, but the answer has to come from Republic rather than from a published list.
Bulk collection exists in Chesterfield, but it is not part of the weekly service or the published rate. Everything about the price, the booking and the size of the load comes from the hauler.
Chesterfield's guide does not name tires anywhere, not for bulk pickup and not at any of the listed drop-off sites, which cover oil, antifreeze, batteries, electronics, building material and household chemicals instead. A tire has to be confirmed with the hauler or handed to a tire business.
Household chemicals go to the county sites by appointment, not to the curb. Chesterfield's guide names paint, automotive fluids, chemicals, batteries, vape pens and cartridges and cooking oils for St. Louis Household Hazardous Waste, with a South County site on Hoffmeister and a North County site on Seven Hills Drive. The same guide sends used oil, transmission fluid and antifreeze to two named auto shops and prescription pills to the police department bin.
The handoff matters
The city code requires solid waste containers to be stored behind the building line so they are not visible from the public right of way, and subdivision indentures can add stricter rules, so the cart goes out for collection and comes back in afterwards. Carts are collected weekly on the city contract, and the optional yard waste service runs on the ward day Republic assigns. Questions about container visibility go to City Hall on 636-537-4000 or to the subdivision trustee.
Solid Waste and Recycling page with the exclusive Republic Services contract, the current trash, recycling and yard waste rates with the senior discount, the quarterly billing, the container storage rule and the optional additional cart rentalThe weekly contract rate covers ordinary household collection, and nothing in the city guide suggests a bulky item can simply be left at the curb on the normal day. Appliances and furniture go through Republic bulk pickup, which is booked on 636-947-5959 and priced by the hauler, and Republic also rents dumpsters for home projects and cleanouts. Book first, put the material out on the assigned day, and take the cart back behind the building line once it has been emptied.
