The local disposal guide
Watauga keeps its collection simple: Frontier Waste Solutions picks up trash, recycling, bulk and brush once a week on the same day, and the City publishes the monthly rates for the service, including a senior rate and the cost of extra carts. Bulk items are named in the hauler's guidance, so a couch, mattress, box spring, stove, water heater or tied carpet goes out beside the cart, with loose brush stacked behind the curb within a three foot cube. Construction debris and hazardous waste stay off the curb, and the City runs a curbside household hazardous waste program through HHW Solutions that residents pay for on the water bill. A bulk and brush drop-off in Justin takes household items for a per cubic yard charge, and the City also names the Denton landfill as an alternative. Dropcurb hauls residential items from addresses across Watauga.
