From $12.39 for the published charge per yard for non containerized material pickup, which carries a two yard minimum. The included allowance covers two cubic yards of additional waste that will not fit the cart and up to two bulk items, each under 50 pounds and under two cubic yards. Beyond that, LRS provides service as needed on an agreed per yard basis billed separately, and the village rate table prices non containerized material pickup at 12.39 per yard with a two yard minimum.
When & how
Set the material out on the collection day by 7 a.m., and call LRS at 844-633-3577 when the load is larger than the included allowance so the per yard or special pickup arrangement can be made.
Get it ready
Keep each item under 50 pounds and under two cubic yards, cut carpet and padding into widths no greater than four feet and tie them into rolled bundles under 50 pounds, break window and patio door glass into a box clearly labeled broken glass with the frames disassembled, remove and empty fuel tanks from grills and gas powered equipment and put the empty tanks in the trash separately, and separate two piece toilets into two parts.
A major appliance, including ovens and refrigerators, is collected on request as a separate service priced per appliance.

When & how

Get it ready
Empty the unit and secure the doors, keep it out of the trash and recycling carts and out of the yard waste, and remember that a pressurized tank or flammable waste cannot be placed out at all, so a gas grill tank must be emptied and put in the trash separately.
Carts and material go out no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before pickup from April 1 through September 30 and no earlier than 4 p.m. from October 1 through March 31, and everything has to be at the curb by 7 a.m. on the collection day. Carts belong in the parkway or on a driveway apron, because a cart in the street or bike lane violates the village code.
Nothing may exceed 50 pounds, carpet is cut into widths no greater than four feet and tied in rolls, window and patio glass is broken into a box labeled broken glass with the frames disassembled, grills and gas equipment are emptied of fuel with the empty tank placed in the trash separately, two piece toilets are separated, and a mattress or box spring is wrapped in plastic with a queen or king set split across two weeks.

To one of the local recyclers the village lists, because electronics are illegal in the regular trash and the contractor tags anything left at the curb. Protech Environmental in Elk Grove takes televisions and monitors of any size for 20.00 and microwaves for 20.00, and the village also lists AVA Recycling, Best Buy on Golf Road, the Elk Grove Township Recycling Center and EZ Electronics Recycling. How does yard waste collection work?+
Yard waste runs from April 1 through the second full week in December on the same day as the rest of the collection, using the resident's own can of 35 gallons or less marked YW or brown kraft bags at no charge, with a 50 pound limit and bundles no longer than four feet and two feet in diameter.
