The local disposal guide
Grapevine contracts its solid waste service to Republic Services, and the city's own pages carry the bulky and brush rules. Since October 2024 the blue cart is the only container collected on standard trash days, so anything bagged beside it waits for a bulk day: the second, fourth and, when it occurs, fifth Wednesday of the month, or the same Tuesdays for households whose trash days are Monday and Thursday. Bulky waste means large household items over 50 pounds that are no longer usable, and the city's examples are appliances, barbecue grills, carpeting, furniture, mattresses, black bags, toilets, water heaters, fencing, brush piles, large branches and bagged leaves. Clean brush and yard waste run on a separate twice monthly calendar. Electronics and appliances can also go to the city's drop-off station on North Main Street, and paint, chemicals, batteries, tires and electronics have two annual collection days, with the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center available through the year for hazardous waste.
