The local disposal guide
Flower Mound franchises its curbside service to Republic Services and bills it through the town utility account. Residents get weekly trash and recycling plus an enhanced weekly bulk and brush collection of up to four cubic yards, all billed together. Bulk items have to fit within three feet by three feet by twelve feet, and the town's acceptable list names yard waste, appliances, furniture, water heaters and toilets, so most household furniture leaves on the regular collection day. Appliances that hold freon, PCB or another liquid or gaseous compound are the exception: the product has to be removed by a certified technician who tags the unit before the crew will take it. Electronics and hazardous waste never ride with bulk trash, because the town runs a separate from home collection scheduled with Republic, and construction material like brick and concrete goes to the Camelot Landfill, where residents get one free trip each month with proof of residency.
