The local disposal guide

Will the city
take it?

Coppell contracts with Republic Services for the whole city, so household trash, bulk, recycling, yard trimmings and the monthly household hazardous waste and electronics collection all run through the same hauler. Trash and bulk are collected Monday and Thursday and recycling and yard trimmings on Wednesday, with 10 bags of solid waste a service day and bulk capped at 2 cubic yards per collection, and beginning October 1, 2026 the city moves to a cart based system where trash stays twice weekly, bulk moves to Thursday with up to 4 cubic yards, and a new monthly residential rate takes effect under the contract approved in 2025. Residents who are water customers also have monthly access to the Camelot Landfill in Lewisville.
